Sunday Teams

We rent our space, so we set up and tear down each week. Sunday Teams do the practical things to make Sunday gatherings possible. The generosity of volunteers are vital to our weekly rhythm.

Coffee Team
Help set up and brew our delicious Prototype Coffee. As part of the Coffee Team you are also part of the Sunday morning Welcome Team and will often be the first point of contact for someone who is new to Artisan.

Kids Team
Lead and facilitate kids classes at our Sunday gatherings. Classes range from ages 1 to grade 5. The Teacher role includes leading the class in creative play, art, and the teaching curriculum. The Helper role includes assisting the Teacher and being available to support the kids in all of their learning and discovery. This Team requires Plan to Protect Training, a criminal record check, and a minimum of 1 year in the community.

Set Up/Tear Down Team
Do a mini workout before or after the gathering! The Set Up crew arrives at 8:30am and usually finishes at 9:30am. The Tear Down crew starts immediately following the gathering for 30-45 minutes.

Tech Team
Make sure everyone can hear and see what they need to. One option is to run sound for the band. Another option is operating slides. If you don’t have any previous training or experience, no worries! We can pair you with a seasoned veteran to show you the ropes.

Welcome Team
The Welcome Team is often the first hello for people coming to a Sunday gathering. Ushers stand at the door and chat with people as they arrive. Info Table Attendants make themselves available for newcomers to ask questions before and after the gathering.

Worship Team
Lead different parts of the liturgy on Sunday mornings. Play music with the worship band, serve communion, read scripture, pray with people in the prayer corner, or read written prayers out loud.
