Sunday Gatherings

We gather in a circle, or “in the round”, with the communion table and Trinity candles at the centre. The Lord’s Supper is served each week. Our gathering has a simple but intentional flow with elements drawn from several ancient Christian traditions.

An average Sunday gathering includes music, teaching, communion, prayer, and opportunities for response. We also plan special celebrations at times like Easter or Christmas. If you’re curious about church but don’t want to participate, you are welcome to come and observe for as long as you need.

We hope you’ll encounter Jesus here and invite you to join us in seeking holistic healing, a wider circle of belonging, and renewed imagination for the church.

Accessibility

  • Double front doors with 1″ sill
  • Children’s programming on third floor accessible by elevator or stairs
  • Wheelchair accessible toilets through 30″ width doors
  • Seating is folding chairs or long wooden benches around the outside of the circle
• Visibility
  • Projection screens visible from all seating
  • We use high contrasting formats for text and backgrounds so lyrics and scriptures are easy to read
• Acoustics
  • PA system; no ASL interpretation
  • Assistive Listening system through the Bettear app
  • The Japanese Hall is a large room with high ceilings – For better/clearer sound, we suggest sitting closer to the front
• Washrooms
  • Gender-neutral and gender-specific washrooms both available
