DTES Churches

We are committed to the unity of our sister churches in the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver. We collaborate in prayer, support and organize several joint functions/gatherings each year.

Jacob’s Well

Jacob’s Well is a “living room space” in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. It is a place where community members gather to give and receive friendship and support. It is where friends become family. It’s a place where people come together to celebrate the good and lament the bad. Jacob’s Well is a faith-based non profit. We welcome all who come to our door. There is room for everyone at our table. Jacob’s Well is a small place, making big differences, in our community member’s lives.

Jesus Collective

Jesus Collective is an organization with a vision to unite, equip, and amplify a Jesus-centred movement. In January 2022, Artisan became affiliated with Jesus Collective, as an official Church Partner, in order to further that shared vision. This affiliation provides our church and its leadership with access to mutually-beneficial relationships with other Partners, workshops and ministry resources such as teaching, curriculum, and leadership training, and opportunities for professional coaching.

Mennonite Central Committee (MCC)

Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), a worldwide ministry of Anabaptist churches, shares God’s love and compassion for all in the name of Christ by responding to basic human needs and working for peace and justice. MCC envisions communities worldwide in right relationship with God, one another and creation.
