Lessons in Love: John's First Letter

Fall is a season of newness and change for many, but this year there’s an extra layer of uncertainty, challenge and anxiety. In such seasons, there is a need for fresh energy and vision around “essentials”—around what’s most important. One thing we always need to be asking, of course, is: What does it mean to be the church during this time? Although much has changed, there’s a need to remind ourselves of what hasn’t changed... God is love. We see this most clearly in Jesus. In Christ, we become God’s love. For the next 10 weeks, we will be exploring the book of 1 John in a series called “Lessons in Love”.
