We don’t have to look far to see evidence of “Us vs Them” polarizations everywhere: right/left, democrat/republican, progressive/conservative, male/female, rich/poor, aboriginal/settler and more. Many of us feel in our bones that there has to be a better way, but are unsure about how to create any lasting change.
This three-part teaching series is been an invitation to re-consider the radical call of Jesus to love our enemies. To join his polarization-busting movement and work for peace. Among the key questions we’ve been asking are these: What does it look like to resist collusion with principalities and powers that champion violence, war, and death? What does it mean to follow Christ’s example of peacemaking in our time?
