Sunday Gatherings

10:30am at the Japanese Hall (see map here)

OFF SUNDAYS

The Japanese Hall is a busy communal space with multiple groups gathering in it each week. Because of the nature of the space, there are a few times during the year when the hall is not available for our use. Here are a few upcoming Sundays to keep in mind:

  • Nov. 17 – Guess Who’s Coming to Brunch
  • Dec. 1 – Advent Art Event at Jacob’s Well

FORMAT

We gather in a circle, or “in the round”, with the communion table at the centre. The Lord’s Supper is served each week, and follow a pretty simple liturgy with elements drawn from a variety of traditions.

LIVE-STREAM

A simple live-stream of our Sunday gatherings is shared on our YouTube channel (subscribe to get notifications). A link to the live-stream is also posted each week in our Community Life Email.

PARKING

There is free street parking surrounding the Japanese Hall, and a pay parking lot at 611 Alexander Street. We value our neighbours who live and work in this neighbourhood through the week. As you walk to church from your car or from transit stops, you might consider how to be a kind presence to those you pass.

ACCESSIBILITY

We strive to host accessible, inclusive gatherings that enable individuals to engage fully. To request an accommodation or for inquiries about accessibility contact admin@artisanchurch.ca.
